Перевод заглавия: Свойства кумаринов, как ловушек активных кислородных радикалов
Аннотация: We tested 19 coumarins for their interaction with oxygen radicals. O[2] was generated in a PMS/NADH and a pyrogallol autoxidation systems, respectively. The OH scavenging activity was tested by detection of formaldehyde produced during the oxidation of DMSO. Hepatic microsomes/NADPH system was used to generate H[2]O[2]. At 1mM concentration, o-dihydroxylated coumarins, fraxetin, esculetin, 4-methylesculetin and 4-methyldaphnetin, lowered the concentration of O[2] by 96.66'+-'0.12, 86.41'+-'0.34, 90.65'+-'0.24 and 96.45'+-'0.19% in PMS/NADH system. At 1mM concentration, fraxetin and esculetin decreased O[2] dependent autoxidation of pyrogallol by 46.88'+-'1.11 and 38.70'+-'0.39%. At 5mM concentration, formaldehyde production was inhibited by 4-hydroxycoumarin (53.11'+-'1.17%), 7-hydroxy-coumarins (fraxetin 34.80'+-'0.37, 4-methyldaphnetin 19.71'+-'0.54, escopoletin 16.85'+-'1.42, 4-methylesculetin 15.75'+-'0.32, esculin 15.02'+-'1.46 and esculetin 14.43'+-'0.92), coumarin-3-carboxilic acid (15.38'+-'0.62%) and 7-methylcoumarin (10.77'+-'0.47%). At 0.1mM concentration 4-methyldaphnetin (91.08'+-'0.76%) and fraxetin (77.07'+-'0.98%) were antioxidant on H[2]O[2] generation system. The efectiveness of fraxetin and esculetin as anti-oxidant under various conditions, suggest that these coumarins may be attractive agents for further evaluation as clinically useful anti-oxidant
