Аннотация: For correcting the concentration of biochemical components in human spot urine, we used the creatinine content, the osmolality, and the specific gravity measured by refractometer. The corrections using specific gravity and osmolality gave good results in intra-assay, inter-assay and individual variations. The former test was appropriate for assaying large molecular size components, and the latter test mainly for assaying small molecular size components. On the other hand, with the concentration correction method using creatinine, one of the urinary components gave reasonable results in a component which excretes a similar filtration process to that of creatinine. Therefore it is necessary to select the appropriate method dependeing on the component to be measured.
